Hello, I'm Shawn Malangyaon.
I'm a Wedding Videographer, but a Documentary Filmmaker at heart.
My passion for documentary storytelling began in film school during a study abroad trip to Nepal several years ago, where we traveled across the country for a month assisting with filming a documentary. I completely fell in love with the process of capturing something unscripted and creating a meaningful and impactful storyline out of it. It was during this trip that I discovered what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Now, I've graduated film school and helped create several more films, with my own documentary winning several awards.

In my eyes, wedding films ARE documentaries. They're about the celebration of one of the most important moments in someone's entire life. They show all of the unscripted realness, candid moments, and raw emotions that happen on a wedding day. And most of all, they're real stories about true connection, powered by love.
