Hello, I'm Shawn Malangyaon.

A Documentary Filmmaker at heart.

My passion for documentary storytelling began during a study abroad trip to Nepal several years ago, where we traveled across the country for a month filming a documentary. It was during this trip that I discovered what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I fell in love with the process of capturing something unscripted and creating a meaningful and impactful storyline out of it. I've now graduated film school and created several award-winning documentaries and short-films of my own.

I hope to bring my storytelling skills and experience into the wedding space, creating timeless films that leave an impact.

I live to tell stories.

I first started creating stories through art and drawing, but along the way, I discovered film and video editing. After honing my editing skills in film school, I met Shawn, who introduced weddings to me. I edited my first wedding with him and found a love for turning the raw footage he captures into a story about love, connection, and the celebration around it.

It's an honor and a dream to create these films for our couples, so they can relive all the best moments from one of the biggest days of their lives.
